BTP Response to the 2012 State of the Union

President Obama wants us to imagine an America that is within reach. I would rather have you imagine a world a little further down the road. The President wants “[a] country that leads the world in educating its people. An America that attracts a new generation of high-tech manufacturing and high-paying jobs. A future where we’re in control of our own energy, and our security and prosperity aren’t so tied to unstable parts of the world. An economy built to last, where hard work pays off, and responsibility is rewarded.“

Chair's Reply to Tiffany Briscoe

On January 14, I requested that Tiffany Briscoe clarify whether or not she had falsely represented herself to the Party.

Two statements have been issued by her campaign; one of which was issued by someone on her behalf, the other re-written by Ms. Briscoe. She wrote, “What started as a simple misunderstanding... grew into a misrepresentation of the truth.
“... I want to say that I apologize for ignoring the importance of such a major detail in my background, as well as to Chairman Perry, who may have been accused wrongly for my wrongdoings.”

Request for response from Ms. Briscoe

Ms. Briscoe,

This message is being copied to Pierre Crevaux and posted publicly online. As you are aware, the issue of whether or not you were not completely honest in representing your credentials. Originally, the question of whether or not you were, in fact, part of the Board of Trustees of Howard Community College was brought up. Now, it seems you may have misrepresented whether or not you actually graduated from Howard CC – a contributor at Independent Political Report has sited that the College has said you have not graduated.
