It appears that the Boston Tea Party does not currently have a New York affiliate.

In a message dated 7 June 2008, Tom Stevens writes, "My New York State affiliate of the Boston Tea Party has also voted to disaffiliate itself from the national Boston Tea Party. The Boston Tea Party New York will change its name and chose its own path."

I was not aware that the party's NY affiliate was his, but he does use the word "my" to suggest that it is his property. In any event, if what he writes is true, then the NY affiliate is not with the party any longer.

That is, of course, both regrettable and a choice of the affiliate to make. Any Boston Tea Party members in New York are welcome to respond here to help organize a new state affiliate.
