I'm a former LP (pre-Barr) and still a strong Ron Paul supporter who just heard about your party.
South Carolina ballot access is either 10,000 signatures OR nomination by convention of one of its recognized parties.
A check of the list of parties at:
http://www.state.sc.us/scsec/party.htm
shows some parties that are now defunct but still recognized for ballot access.
Perhaps if you could affiliate with one of the contacts listed on that page you could get on the ballot with out much hassle.

I think the BTP is going to be getting a membership spike this season.
