Independent Candidate Collaboration
Jeremy Boggess, an independent candidate for State Senate in the state of Idaho sent me a web site he established to help independent and third party candidates collaborate, specifically to discuss cost/space sharing at events.
Candidates use the site's form to post details for an event they will be participating in and how they may be contacted. Other independent candidates could then check the web site, see the posting, and contact the poster so that they may share resources. For example, a Boston Tea Party candidate and a Constitution Party candidate might be running for office in the same region and both setting up tables at a fair. Through Jeremy's site, the two could share space and save money for both their campaigns.
This may be a good resource for our candidates and affiliates to collaborate with other independent and third party candidates and organizations in their states and get a bit of an edge competing with the big money of their local major parties.
Bookmark www.supportingdemocracy.com and utilize it if you are doing these kind of events for your affiliate or campaign for office.
