No Key Note Address for this Year's Convention
Hello Fellow BTP'ers:
Despite what I had originally planned, there won't be a convention key note speech that I was going to be giving this year. Although I was going to give such a speech on the opening of the convention, I decided against it because of personal and other issues affecting my life which have been on my mind more than the convention itself, and, more to the point, my mind hasn't been on the convention that much anyway.
Also, since this is an off-year convention, there's no point in having a speech, considering we are not running candidates. In 2012, I will be issuing a convention speech, as I hope other current and future members of the BTP will engage in their own speeches as well.
Therefore, I wish everyone good luck in the NatComm races. I am working to gain support from the membership for my run. Please vote for me for At-Large Rep. and I promise to bring the BTP to a real exciting path to a very, very limited government, in accordance with the Principles of the Articles of Confederation.
Thank you all, and good luck on the votes, as the voting will cease in a few minutes.
Yours in Liberty,
Todd Andrew Barnett
Long-time BTP Activist
Candidate, At-Large Representative, BTP NatComm
