So, the Boston Tea Party national committee has moved (by chair Darryl Perry) and seconded (by Todd Andrew Barnett) a motion to open nominations for the remaining at large position on the national committee.

I gather that moving and seconding is sufficient to cause this motion to come into effect. I am eagerly anticipating an official page for nominations, so I can nominate Tom Knapp. Maybe someone would second that nomination. And, who knows, maybe Tom would accept the nomination, though I gather he might not.

If Tom does not wish to serve on the national committee, some of the other people that I think would have merit in the position include Kent McManigal, Elle Larkin, Miche Shinghal, Mike Blessing, Wes Pinchot, Tom Blanton.
