So, in the interim, pass a resolution that seven days on and around April 1st will henceforth all be "April 1st." It really doesn't come around often enough as it is.

Only the first two options are available. Bylaws, Article 11, Section a:

"The Party shall hold a regular Convention in every even-numbered year after 2006, at a time selected by the National Committee, opening prior to Memorial Day and not exceeding seven days in duration."

Tom thanks for that, I forgot to check the bylaws, but remembered the 2008 conventions were later in the year.
