Question for Capitalists...
I am getting a little tired of listening to politicians dance around this issue or claim they can fix it.
How do you create jobs in the United States?
I have heard all of these theories about how it's regulations and taxes that are driving companies out of this country but lets be realistic.
The only regulation that even really affects this issue is minimum wage. And all repealing that would do at this stage is allow American companies to offer the same wages they are in third world countries. Which is by no means a "living wage".
A lot of economists and politicians try to make this situation out to be far more complicated then it really is because they want us to be content that they have the answers. But it is no more complicated then this:
Why would any corporation or company open a factory in the United States where they would be expected to offer a fair wage and benefits when they can open one that is mostly automated, or in a country where the local economy is so dismal that the people there will happily accept pennies on the dollar of what American workers would ask for?
Nothing short of the people of the United States being willing to be part of the new "Peasant" or "Slave" class will allow us to compete with that. And only then until most jobs are automated.
