Now that we have our Presidential nominee, we have to start to get her on as many ballots as we can. If we're aggressive, there's about 16 or 17 states we can do easily.

-Mississippi needs paperwork done by January 6th. If not, we can submit 1,000 signatures as an independent candidate by September 7th.
-Hawaii needs just under 700 signatures by February 22nd.
-New Mexico needs just over 3,000 signatures by April 2nd.
-Colorado needs $500 and a list of electors by June 4th.
-Vermont needs 1,000 signatures by June 14th.
-New Jersey needs 800 signatures by July 30th.

Despite the tendency of marijuana users to experience the "munchies," pot smokers may have a lower risk of obesity that those who don't use the drug, a new study finds.

The results show the prevalence of obesity is lower among people who frequently smoke pot compared with those who have never inhaled.

This week, the Senate will vote on a long-term Continuing Resolution (CR) that leaves spending at 2010 levels, makes over $1 trillion in appropriations for Big Government projects, and contains S. 510, the FDA's War on Food, as an attachment.

Contact your senators and urge them to vote against the long-term CR on every vote - including cloture - and to support a short-term version that will fund the government only until the new Congress convenes and removes the S. 510 language.
